About the Speakers

Mr. Toshiaki Ejiri

Founder, Managing Director

Web Analytics Consultants Association (WACA Pte Ltd)

Sanno University Assistant Professor, Contents Value Researching Laboratory.

 

Being the founder of "Kan Corp.", Mr. Ejiri has been working as one of the earliest a web analytics consultant since 2000. It was one of the few companies focusing on digital analytic business. Then, Mr. Ejiri produced an access analysis tool called “Access Deka” (Access Cop) in 2002 and in collaboration with IBM. IBM bundled the solution onto their software, “Homepage builder 10”.

In 2012, "Kan Corp." was acquired by Softbank

In the same year, Mr. Ejiri founded Web Analytics Consultants Association (WACA). 

Now, under WACA, there are 20,000 participants and over 10,000 WACA certified Web Analytics Consultants. It’s one of the biggest associations in Japan, where many employees of major agencies and brands in Japan, such as Ogilvy & Mather, Hakuhodo, Recruit, and ADK are also members of WACA.

Mike is proficient in than 100 web and social media analytic tool worldwide. He is a firm believer

of Social Sales – A streamlined process of driving sales from Social Media. He is focused on

delivering tangible value (Sales) to his clients and making his service a sustainable one for his

clients. He has never stopped learning since he graduated with an Engineering Degree, bagging

another Diploma in Technopreneurship.

Currently, Mike runs Social4You which specialises in social media marketing and web analytics for

businesses with any digital presence, in particular for the hospitality industry as well as

e-commerce targeting premium consumers. He is also Web Analytics Master for WACA, conducting

web analytic courses in APAC region.

In this seminar, Mr Ejiri and Mike will share with us :

  • What is "Analytic"? 

  • How it started, how it has been implemented for the brick-and-mortar businesses?

  • How it should be applied and has evolved in the digital age in the form of Web Analytics?

 

They will further illustrates on:

  • How Web Analytics can help to study customer behaviour,

Tong started learning Japanese as third language at age 13. After graduating from National University of Singapore with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Tong packed his bags and flew to Kyoto for his first job, and began his new life in Japan. In 2014, after spending 5 years in Japan, Tong returned to Singapore to set up WASABI Creation, for “creating awesome projects between Japan and Singapore”.

Tong’s goal is to make WASABI Creation the catalyst for creating business opportunities, developing close relationships, and explore possibilities between Japan and Singapore, as well as the ASEAN region. WASABI Creation’s mission is to spice up ASEAN with a sprinkle of Japan’s wonders, just like the overwhelming taste and burning sensation of the green Wasasbi. (Read more)
